Meet Melanie Thomas, a Special Education Program Specialist who, with her husband, moved to our community in 2013, fell in love with it, and decided to call it home.
I am proud West Sacramento resident and am so happy to found this community to call home! I am originally from Vacaville where I fell in love with my high school sweetheart now husband. After attending UC Berkeley (Go Bears!) I accepted a position with Teach For America that brought me to Sacramento to begin my career as a Special Educator. If I am not cycling or practicing yoga in my home-gym you can find me walking along the beautiful trails here in West Sac. My husband and I enjoy traveling and cannot wait until we can go on our next big trip!
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
