I own Muertos Coffee Company and a new NA beverage about to launch called Leisuretown. I’ve been in the beverage space since my first job as a brewer in my senior year at UC Santa Barbara and I’m eager to create a new social beverage that’s healthier and doesn’t lead to hangovers. I’m getting married to my best friend in May and we’re expecting our first in mid October. I like to travel, lose money in the cryptocurrency space and throw clubs when I get frustrated golfing.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I was very fortunate to be blessed with the best parents on the planet. They had my sister and I quite young and we didn’t have much but we had everything we needed. My sister always protected me while simultaneously beating me up growing up, it was great.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
My path has lead me to creating beverages and I love it, I feel quite lucky. I helped build a local brewery with hands down thee best craft beer in this region for the last decade; hint – it’s near a lake… It taught me everything I wanted to do and (and not do) in creating my own companies. I now have my own brands which I draw inspiration from trends, market insights and honestly what I want to drink.
